- Inspect truck equipment, supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water for defects, before and after trips
- Maintain vehicle upkeep by performing general maintenance and addressing safety concerns including:
- Report all discrepancies and safety concerns to Sales operations manager
- Report all needed major repairs to Sales operations manager
- Performs emergency roadside repairs
- Ensures cargo is secure during transit
- Maintain accurate driving records and follows all regulations including:
- DOT and Hazmat regulations and procedures if required.
- Inspection reports
- Cargo loads
- Customer receipts
- Bring Customer product returns and proper paperwork back to the MWI warehouse if needed.
- Follows all procedures as detailed in the Delivery Specialist Procedure Manual.
- Education:
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Adequate mobility to continually walk and stand; pull orders from various shelf heights; and ability to lift up to 35 lbs -50 lbs regularly is required.
- Occasionally will move 75 lbs from pallet to pallet.
- Must be able to read and understand English
- Basic mathematical skills, number recognition skills
- Good hand/eye coordination.
- Good customer service skills and a sense of urgency are required.
- Must be available for on-call rotation.

Summary of Role: The Delivery Specialist is responsible for delivering product for the assigned corporate accounts within the Livestock Business Unit. These accounts will be mostly swine accounts and could include some dairy, Vet Clinics, and other customers. This position reports through sales operations team and works closely with territory managers as well as maintaining a close working relationship with Distribution facilities. Product is transported from company distribution facility to customer locations daily. A high customer service ability is required. Shift Details: Monday- Friday 6:30am-3:30pm Location: Must be located within a 30-mile radius of Elizabethtown, PA region
