The Wastewater System Superintendent manages the daily operations, maintenance, and personnel of the wastewater treatment plant and collection systems at CMI's customer site in Beltsville, MD. Key Job Functions Directs the daily operations of the treatment plant, pumping stations, and sewer lines. Reviews treatment processes and makes adjustments to maximize efficiency. Works with key stakeholders and contractors to plan, review, and manage plant upgrades or infrastructure construction Perform other management related duties as required High School diploma; Bachelors degree preferred Must have at least 5 years experience as a W5 licensed superintendent in the State of Maryland and at least 3 years of experience of management and oversight of wastewater treatment plants with advanced treatment systems Must have a thorough knowledge of MDE Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) and have experience preparing and submitting such reports in MD for the last 3 years Must be licensed as Maryland (MD) Wastewater Treatment (W5) Activated Sludge with Class (WA) Advanced Wastewater Treatment License must be at least Class W5 Wastewater Treatment Superintendent.
