Responsibilities

- Engage with the gynaecological oncology pathway, working closely with regional cancer networks and MDT processes.
- Essential Criteria to Apply
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practise.
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, or within six months of eligibility at the time of interview.
- MRCOG or equivalent specialist qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Completion of a recognised O&G training programme or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience across the breadth of obstetrics and gynaecology at consultant or senior registrar level.
- Competence in the operative and procedural skills expected of an NHS O&G consultant, including obstetric emergencies and gynaecological surgery.
- Experience in managing high-risk pregnancy and complex gynaecological conditions.
- Ability to work independently as a consultant and contribute effectively to the on-call rota.
- Evidence of engagement with clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement.
