About the role
This role will suit an experienced planner with a proven track record in planning and scheduling management of large EPC projects. Preferably you will have experience of transmission projects, but we'd also be open to hearing from individuals with relevant construction experience from other sectors including heavy civils, highways, rail, utilities, oil & gas or petrochemicals. Experience of NEC form of contract is preferred but not essential. What will you have: Degree in a related discipline Highly skilled in use of Primavera P6 planning software Significant major project planning experience, typically a minimum of 15-years, including building fully integrated logic-linked EPC programmes Advanced understanding of WBS & CBS structures and project reporting capabilities Advanced ability to develop project schedules and plans Advanced ability to prepare resource loading, progress and staffing plans Excellent understanding of earned value application, cost and schedule variance analyses/trending and what-if scenarios Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with internal colleagues and within client's organisations Exceptional organisational skills and able to multi-task Experience of risk management processes/ techniques Practical experience working under NEC contracts, including assessing delay impacts, change events, and contractor claims (desirable) Experience in the training and development of others (desirable)
