THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PROGRAM ANALYST (T32), Position Description Number D0712000 and is part of the AL SAAO, National Guard. ORGANIZATION: JFHQ/SAOH, MONTGOMERY, AL SELECTING OFFICIAL: COL D. CRENSHAW MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military grade in the Alabama Army National Guard. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical, or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes, and principles of management. Knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience, education, or training which has provided application of practices, theories, techniques, and methods of management. Experience analyzing, interpreting, and developing policies and procedures of local management. KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: --Knowledge of analytical and evaluative techniques to analyze program elements of the aviation program in terms of capabilities and requirements, and to determine deficient areas or trends. --Knowledge of administrative regulations and operating procedures to identify, analyze, and provide recommendations for improving aviation methods and procedures. --Knowledge of management principles and organizational theory, techniques of analysis and evaluation. --Skill in preparing and presenting findings and making recommendations.
