Football Coach

About the role

Balestier Khalsa Football Club, a professional football club in the Singapore Premier League is looking for a dedicated and experienced Goalkeeper Coach to join our coaching staff. We are committed to developing a modern, possession-based style of play while maintaining the highest defensive standards.

Responsibilities

• Training Sessions: Plan and deliver progressive, age-appropriate, or elite goalkeeper training sessions focusing on technical execution, positioning, distribution, and match scenarios.
• Match Preparation: Assist the Head Coach with tactical planning, video analysis, and set-piece defending.
• Player Development: Monitor player fitness, conduct performance evaluations, and create individualized development plans.
• Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the first-team or youth coaching staff and medical teams.
• Talent Identification: Scout and assess goalkeepers within the youth system and broader region.
• Requirements & Qualifications:
• Licensing: Minimum [AFC Goalkeeping A / equivalent] coaching license.
• Experience: Proven track record coaching goalkeepers, ideally at a competitive youth, semi-professional, or professional level.
• Skills: Strong understanding of modern goalkeeping tactics (including playing out from the back), exceptional communication skills, and video analysis capabilities.
• Culture Fit: Passionate about player growth, highly organized, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
