Responsibilities

  • Consult with leaders across AbbVie globally and in all Functions to identify business needs and opportunities, given the environmental context and challenges expected in the future.
  • Assess the root causes and deliver key insights to the organization that inform recommendations.
  • Help leaders and their teams define the organizational strategy that articulates a clear direction and aligns them on one path to execution.

  • Advise, influence, and coach senior leaders and HR partners on prioritization of needs and critical conversations related to organizational effectiveness topics, such as readiness for and leading through change, culture, process, organization design efforts, and team leadership.
  • Collaborate to create a data-driven culture within OE, identifying and analyzing data to provide an informed perspective on organizational issues.
  • Participate in creating new tools and methodologies to improve our outcomes to stakeholders and clients.
  • Expand the organizational capability across the BHRs and rest of the organization.
  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree, required; Master's degree, a plus.
  • At least 10 years of background/experience in: Internal or external consulting, Influencing and collaborating globally and with all levels of leaders, Instructional design, Facilitation, Process design and optimization, and Organizational effectiveness.
  • A proven, strong performer with leadership experience in multiple aspects of the business.
  • Record of driving business performance in times of change.
  • Knows what it takes for leaders to develop others and create high performing teams.
