Inventory Controller

About the role

Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw material to identify shortages Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus Analyze data to anticipate future needs Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed. Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices. Liaising and negotiating with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality of stock purchases. Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing. Forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability. Generating purchase and pricing reports, supply chain analysis, and inventory management systems. Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor. Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records. Inventory Controller Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of experience in Restaurant or Hotel. Exceptional understanding of inventory management. Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional collaboration and negotiation abilities. Excellent time management and organizational skil Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays
