$53,997 - $67,496This position is in the office but is eligible for 40% remote work with supervisor approval.Compensation Type:SalaryEmployment Type:RegularGrade:E07Position SummaryDuties & ResponsibilitiesCoordinates and processes grant applications from concept to submission.Assists faculty and staff in writing grants; organizes, compiles, and analyzes data related to proposed projects; composes or edits proposals; drafts letters of inquiry, support, agreement, and commitment; provides training on development of grant proposals; and assists project directors with preparation and submission of renewal applications, grant modification requests, and reports.Researches, analyzes, and identifies funding opportunities in support of CNM priorities; reviews literature on evidence-based best practices and local and national policy reports; serves as liaison with funding agencies and organizations; and disseminates necessary information to obtain funding.Facilitates project development meetings; research concepts; prepares drafts for internal review; develops budgets.Ensures project development is in alignment with funder procedures, policies and guidelines and that budget development is in alignment with funder and internal cost guidance and accounting principles.Collaborates and supports effective grants development processes for CNM, the CNM Foundation, and CNM Ingenuity to determine funding needs and identify funding opportunities in alignment with CNM's mission and vision and strategic goals.Helps to match grant related programs, projects, services, and activities to the mission and goals of CNM, including CNM Foundation and CNM Ingenuity.Recommends policies, practices, and procedures to formulate and implement and address institutional priorities and needs.Maintains records of grants submitted, active projects, funding needs, potential funding sources and other grant activities in an established Customer Relationship Management system.Facilitates Grant Management meetings as necessary to support Principal Investigators, Grant Accountants, and Institutional Research staff during grant periods and to prepare for grant reporting.Responsible for supporting the development of other critical proposals and College-wide initiatives.Performs other related duties as assigned.
