Portfolio Manager- Solid Waste Services

Responsibilities

• -Project Management & Technical Execution
• -Manage and execute engineering projects related to solid waste facility expansions and closures; infrastructure improvements, and environmental compliance reporting directly to the Principal Engineer.
• -Lead multi-discipline teams
• -Oversee field activities including construction quality assurance (CQA) and site observations during landfill construction and closure projects.
• Client Interaction & Team Collaboration
• -Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure project goals, budgets, and timelines are met.
• -Develop client relationships
• -Business Development-Support pursuit tracking and proposal development and contribute to business development efforts through technical expertise and client engagement
• Help develop and expand solid waste services portfolio in central and northern California
• -Expand Solid Waste Engineering Capabilities
• -Expand solid waste engineering capabilities profile, focusing on Master Planning, Design, and environmental compliance.
• -Facilitate growth by supporting strategic talent acquisition and mentorship of junior staff

Requirements

• -Education & Licensure
• -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• -California PE license required; CE licenses in Oregon and Washington desirable.
• -Minimum 15 years of experience in civil and environmental engineering with a focus on landfill projects.
• -Proven experience in landfill expansions and closures
• -Project management and client coordination
