Staff Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to patients attending the clinic.
• Assist doctors during consultations, and examinations.
• Perform clinical duties such as vital signs monitoring, and specimen collection.
• Educate patients on medications, investigations, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate appointments, investigations, referrals, and hospital admissions where required.
• Assist with endoscopy scheduling, pre-procedure counselling, intra- procedure and post-procedure coordination
• Handle patient enquiries and provide appropriate assistance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update electronic medical records.
• Ensure proper stock and medication inventory.
• Adhere to infection control, workplace safety, and clinic protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and administrative duties as assigned by medical director/ clinic manager.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with valid SNB registration.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and electronic medical records systems.
• Endoscopy experience will be an advantage.
• Relevant private specialist clinic experience (Gastro/GS) will be an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcome (training will be provided).
