General working hours for this role will be 2pm-11pm IST during the weekdays. Relocation support is not available for this position. Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with precision, including the preparation and review of journal entries and reconciliation schedules.
  • Conduct thorough research and documentation of accounting treatments for non-standard revenue transactions in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Collaborate with various teams to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of Unity's financial close procedures, and provide assistance with monthly reporting and flux analysis.
  • Work closely with business and operational team to address the billing and collection queries
  • Drive process improvements and automation efforts, maintain standard operating procedures, and support audit requirements while assisting management with special projects and ad-hoc tasks.

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant, or equivalent certification required
  • Strong knowledge of ASC 606, Revenue from Contract with Customers
  • Strong team player that is willing to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Superb communication skills, both written and oral
  • Knowledge of excel at an intermediate level
  • You might also have
  • Experience with BI Systems, Salesforce, Workday Financials and/or NetSuite
  • Ability to work with team members spread across multiple locations.
  • Proven attention to detail and eager to learn and try new things
