Benefits
The base hourly rate for this position is $39.80.Johns Manville is hiring Industrial Electrician(s) at our Waterville, OH complex. We are searching for individuals who are dependable, responsible and quality-minded who have a history of working safely in a manufacturing environment.The Waterville, OH location manufactures direct melt products including wet chop glass fibers primarily for specialty applications, glass reinforcements for gypsum wall boards, direct dry chop for plastic reinforcements, single end roving for weavers and plastic reinforcements, and glass mat.Your Day to Day:Inspect, assemble, install, and repair all electrical AC and DC circuits, instrumentation, switchgear, motors, and other electrical equipment throughout the plant.Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks as prescribed by Plant Supervision.Aid Plant Mechanics and Operations personnel in resolving day-to-day equipment problems.Comfortable handling daily responsibilities independently while regularly collaborating with team members.Adhere to all Johns Manville safety procedures and policies.What You Bring to the Team:High school diploma or GEDIndustrial Electrician Journeyman Card or equivalent experience.Troubleshooting experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), AC/DC drives and basic instrumentation (temperature, level, pressure).Working knowledge of basic electrical equipment (digital multimeter, megger, etc.)Basic Computer skills and the ability to understand technical prints, charts, and diagrams.Working Knowledge of SAP or other Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) preferredAbility to stand, walk, and use tools continuously as well as frequently reach, climb stairs and lift up to 50lbs.Ability to tolerate working from heights and elevated temperatures.Good hearing, vision (color), speaking, and finger dexterity skills.Required to pass a drug screening, physical, and background checkMust successfully pass an aptitude test and hands-on skills assessment.Must be willing to work any shift (12a-8am; 8am-4pm; 4pm-12am; Swing Shift) OR 12-hour rotating shift.This Position Offers:Overtime and Double Time Pay (where appropriate)401k match11 Paid HolidaysPaid VacationEducation reimbursementComprehensive medical, dental and vision plansPlease Keep in MindIf you do not meet 100% of these requirements, we at JM still want to hear from you.
