Plant Engineer (Mechanical)

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, reliability, or plant engineering
• Background in chemical, petrochemical, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or heavy industrial environments preferred
• Hands-on experience with rotating and motorized equipment troubleshooting and servicing
• Familiar with preventive maintenance planning, root cause analysis, and overhaul procedures
• Able to read P&ID drawings and proficient in Microsoft Office

📍 Work Location: Jurong Island | Company transport provided 🕘Work Hour: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM 💰 Salary: Basic up to $4,500/month (depending on experience) Job Description Plan and carry out preventive maintenance programs to keep plant equipment running reliably Troubleshoot mechanical equipment breakdowns and carry out root cause analysis to prevent repeat failures Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, procedures, and equipment records Manage mechanical engineering projects from planning through to completion, on time and within budget Supervise contractors and vendors performing maintenance and project work on site Ensure all equipment and systems meet statutory inspection, certification, and safety compliance requirements Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or improvements to boost efficiency Support production operations by providing technical solutions and engineering expertise Manage maintenance costs and identify opportunities to reduce spending and improve processes Liaise with internal teams and headquarters on equipment issues and continuous improvement initiatives
