Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Source seafood from wholesalers such as Jurong Fishery Port to maintain consistent supply
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals
• Plan and execute daily procurement strategies to meet demand and optimize inventory
• Ensure seafood freshness and quality by monitoring supplier standards and delivery conditions
• Monitor market price fluctuations to adjust procurement plans and maintain competitive pricing
• Optimize profit margins through strategic sourcing and cost control measures
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• 5-10 years of experience in seafood, wholesale, or supply chain management
• Established and strong supplier network within the seafood industry
• Proven negotiation skills demonstrated through successful supplier agreements
• In-depth market knowledge of seafood pricing and trends
