AECOM Regina is hiring a Civil Transportation Specialist. Job Summary / Responsibilities - Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment under the guidance of experienced engineers. - Gathers and correlates engineering data using established procedures and engineering principles. - Works on engineering assignments involving transportation infrastructure, geotechnical investigations, pavements, and civil design support activities. - Proposes solutions to project challenges through the adaptation and application of standard engineering methods and practices. - Identifies discrepancies in technical results and supports corrective actions. - Provides guidance and mentorship to junior staff and entry-level engineers where appropriate. - Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budgets and schedules with limited supervision. - Independently performs technical tasks supporting transportation and infrastructure projects, including investigations, design coordination, quality control, and construction oversight activities. - Supports multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of transportation projects including roads, transit, airport, and infrastructure assignments. - Performance at this level requires demonstrated professional engineering experience with increasing responsibility. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering + 4+ years of relevant engineering experience in transportation infrastructure, geotechnical engineering, construction, and project delivery. Experience supporting transportation-related projects including roads, transit, airport infrastructure, pavement systems, and associated civil works. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligible for registration in Saskatchewan.
