About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Community Center on Tyndall AFB, FL. Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules and procedures. Strong customer service, communication, and computer skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced recreational environment. Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor. Previous experience in customer service, recreation, hospitality, or entertainment environments, 1-year desirable experience. Ability to safeguard, maintain, and handle cash/payment methods. Skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment, electronics, and facilities are desirable. Familiarity with gaming consoles, movie theater operations, or recreational facilities. Experience working in a military or community recreation setting preferred. Have skill to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Be able to speak, read, and write the English Language. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules. Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment up to 40 pounds. Ability to interact professionally with customers of all ages and backgrounds.
