*URGENT* Endoscopy Scrub Nurse (New Clinic, 5.5 days Office Hours) #HRY

About the role

Prepare endoscopy suites, instruments, and equipment prior to procedures. Assist gastroenterologists and physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Perform scrub and circulating nurse duties, ensuring aseptic techniques and infection control standards are maintained. Monitor patients' vital signs and condition before, during, and after procedures. Administer medications and sedation under physician supervision and according to established protocols. Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure nursing care and patient education. Ensure proper handling, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of endoscopes and accessories in accordance with regulatory and infection control guidelines. Maintain accurate nursing documentation, procedure records, and patient charts. Manage inventory and ensure adequate stock levels of consumables and medical supplies. Respond appropriately to emergencies and provide immediate nursing interventions when required. Collaborate with doctors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical governance and patient safety standards.
