Job Purpose The purpose of this role is to support the planning and procurement of direct materials for AbbVie Singapore, ensuring timely material availability for production and technology transfer activities while maintaining appropriate inventory levels on site, in close collaboration with senior planners and cross‑functional stakeholders. Major Responsibilities Maintain accurate material planning and supplier master data in the ERP system (e.g., Item Master, Vendor Master, planning records, BOM, MRP, purchase orders) in line with established procedures. Review MRP outputs under guidance, create purchase requisitions, and follow up on purchase order deliveries to support adherence to the production schedule. Monitor raw material lead times, safety stock settings and inventory levels, and highlight variances or risks (e.g., potential shortages or excess) to the senior planner for action. Support day‑to‑day import/export and order fulfillment activities by preparing documentation, coordinating with logistics and brokers, and helping to resolve routine issues that may impact on‑time delivery. Assist in basic trade compliance activities, such as preparing data for tariff classification, country-of-origin and valuation reviews, and supporting implementation of trade compliance procedures and SOPs. Contribute to supply chain and trade-related initiatives by providing data, updating trackers and reports (e.g., trade metrics, supplier performance), and supporting internal/external audits as required.
