Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-first mindset.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Excel or similar tools (we'll help you grow from there).

Salary Range: $26 per hour Position Summary: IEM is currently seeking an Operations Leadership Intern for our Surrey, BC location. As an Operations Leadership Intern, you'll be right on the production floor, learning how products are built, how teams work together, and how structured leadership systems keep operations running safely, efficiently, and consistently. This internship is designed for students who are curious, motivated, and excited to explore a future career in operations, manufacturing, or industrial leadership. This role also provides exposure to how Leads, Supervisors, and Operations Managers establish daily operating discipline and standard leadership routines across fabrication teams to drive performance and accountability. This role is 100% in-person at our Surrey, BC locations and does not offer remote work .
