Position Summary : The Director of Global Benefits will be responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and administration of Globus Medical's global benefits programs, leading and developing a global benefits team to deliver scalable, compliant, and employee‑centered solutions. This role ensures alignment with business goals and compliance with local regulations, and requires deep expertise in both U.S. and international benefits. The Director will also leverage a strong understanding of Workday systems to drive process efficiency, automation, data integrity, and robust reporting capabilities across the global benefits function. Essential Functions : Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a global benefits strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and enhances employee experience. Partner with HR leadership, Finance, and external consultants to analyze market trends and ensure competitive, cost-effective benefits offerings. Lead the harmonization of benefits across global locations, ensuring consistency while maintaining compliance with local requirements. Provide people leadership for the global benefits team, including setting clear expectations, coaching and developing team members, driving accountability, and building organizational capability to support current and future business needs. Program Design & Administration: Oversee the administration of all benefit plans, including health, wellness, retirement, and leave programs across U.S. and OUS regions. Continuously evaluate benefit plan performance, cost-effectiveness, and employee engagement to optimize offerings. Partner with vendors, brokers, and consultants to negotiate contracts and ensure high-quality service delivery. Workday & Systems Management: Leverage Workday to optimize benefits administration, including eligibility, enrollment, and reporting functionalities. Ensure data integrity, accurate reporting, and seamless integrations with payroll and other HR systems. Identify opportunities to enhance automation and self-service capabilities for employees. Compliance & Governance: Ensure all benefit programs comply with U.S. federal and state regulations (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, etc.), as well as international legal and regulatory requirements. Lead audits and risk assessments related to benefits programs and policies. Stay ahead of legislative and market changes, providing recommendations for necessary plan adjustments. Employee Engagement & Communication: Develop and implement communication strategies to educate employees on benefit offerings and changes. Partner with HR Business Partners to ensure employees fully understand and maximize their benefits. Drive wellness initiatives that promote employee well-being and engagement. General: Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role. Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties.
