Role Overview At Interpath, our Procurement Consulting team is part of our Value Creation service line and improving our client's results is our passion. Our client teams optimise our Client's purchasing strategies, reduce costs, and manage supplier relationships resulting in the optimisation of costs, liquidity, and investments. As a Manager in the Procurement Consulting team, you will work with experienced colleagues to deliver multi-stakeholder, international and domestic Procurement projects while also raising the profile of Interpath as a premier provider of Value Creation advisory services. The successful candidate will lead colleagues on a diverse range of client projects such as: Assess current procurement processes and collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and strategic priorities Identify improvement opportunities by analysing bottlenecks, inefficiencies, cost drivers, and risks across procurement, logistics, planning, and distribution Designing and implementing cost‑effective procurement strategies that ensure compliance in addition to a positive impact on EBITDA, working capital & operational KPIs Conducting supplier evaluations including leading negotiations, managing contracts including benchmarking against best practices to support ongoing supplier performance management Managing stakeholders and articulating procurement value to CFO, COO & supply chain leadership and preparing reports, forecasts, and spend analyses to inform strategic decision‑making Lead or support large‑scale change management transformation initiatives, including organisational restructuring, acquisition integration, and readiness planning for operational disruptions Work in very close collaboration with the local Austrian Managing Director to actively support sales and business development initiatives and to help build and scale Interpath Advisory's presence in Austria Engage with potential new clients, building trusted relationships and identifying new opportunities across the Austrian market A Manager in the Procurement Consulting team will have the opportunity to partake in business development and marketing activities and events. They will also expand their knowledge and experience by working with Managing Directors on additional topics along the value chain for Clients. The development of the Procurement Consulting service offering will further strengthen Interpath' market presence within the Value Creation marketplace. Requirements Strong academic background, including potentially a Master's or PhD, combined with hands-on experience in procurement consulting and project management Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and on‑site teams while assuming responsibility for cost control and implementation outcomes Strong commercial understanding including P&L impact and the ability to connect procurement to cash, EBITDA, working capital and operational KPIs Excellent category knowledge including category-specific market dynamics, key suppliers, cost drivers, and negotiation levers Preparation of product cost calculations: Dismantling sample parts and creating bills of materials, including photographic documentation Creating work plans and defining the sequence of the manufacturing process for plastic products based on technical drawings and/or sample parts Evaluating individual cycle times per operation using mathematical calculations and/or empirical methods Calculating the optimum machine size, including peripheral equipment Deriving tooling requirements and providing a rough estimation of the required tooling costs per operation Conducting online research into material prices, machine investments and purchased components Presenting and repr
