Responsibilities

  • Support LNG regasification, cargo transfer and deck operations on FSRU and Powership projects.
  • Coordinate LNG cargo handling activities including cool-down, loading, discharging and ship-to-ship (STS) operations.

  • Support FAT, SAT, commissioning and performance testing activities.
  • Assist with preparation for statutory inspections, Class surveys and SIRE inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with IGC Code, SIGTTO guidelines and applicable maritime regulations.
  • Support development of operating procedures, training materials and technical handover documentation.
  • Maintain documentation including service reports, operating manuals and project records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies (including nautical studies, maritime transportation)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience on LNG vessels, LNG carriers or FSRUs.
  • Experience in LNG cargo operations including cool-down, loading, discharging and STS transfers.
  • Experience in LNG BOG management, cargo conditioning or re-liquefaction operations.
  • Proven experience in LNG vessel dry-docking, vessel reactivation, retrofit or yard delivery projects.
  • Experience with Moss and/or Membrane LNG containment systems.
  • Knowledge of LNG cargo systems, cryogenic operations and LNG safety practices.
  • Familiarity with international maritime regulations, including IGC Code, ISM Code and SIGTTO guidelines.

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Regas / Cargo & Deck Engineer to support FSRU and Powership operations, with expertise in LNG cargo handling, regasification operations, ship-to-ship (STS) transfers, mooring systems, cargo containment systems and deck operations. The role will support FSRU conversion projects, LNG vessel reactivation, cargo system integration, commissioning activities and operational readiness. The successful candidate will work closely with shipyard teams, EPC contractors, OEMs, Class societies and vessel crews to ensure safe and efficient execution of project and operational activities. This position requires extended presence at shipyards and offshore locations during project execution and commissioning phases.
