Responsibilities
- Veterinary Assistant/ Pharmacy Tech
- Safely and confidently restrain dogs (including large breeds) and cats, even the more "spirited" ones.
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments.
- Support the pharmacy team by preparing and filling medications, maintaining inventory, and becoming familiar with common veterinary medications and protocols.
- Help ensure prescriptions are accurately labeled and ready for client pick-up while following clinic safety procedures.

Requirements
- Experience working with animals in a veterinary setting preferred (1-2 years ideal).
- Ideally enrolled in a Veterinary Technician program.
- Comfortable handling animals of all sizes and temperaments.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when assisting with medications and pharmacy support tasks.
- Organized and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Comfortable working around the occasional strong odors and noises that come with caring for animals. The role may also involve exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and some contagious conditions-but we provide training and safety precautions to help keep you protected.

- Pay Range: $18 to $24/hr based on level of experience
