Manager Accounting(R2R)

Responsibilities

• Producing accurate and timely financial reports, for internal and external use, in accordance with GAAP and in compliance with section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
• Ensuring the accounting policies and practices of the organization are followed; working closely with internal auditors, public accountants, federal tax examiners, and other financial professionals ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization.
• Overseeing and evaluating the activities of the accounting staff, and providing for their professional development; analysing and solving accounting problems.
• What you will have
• 3 to 4 years of Accounting Degree or equivalent & Professional Certification from CA/CMA institute. US CPA/CMA Preferred.
• 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in captive accounting service centers or large corporates with
• Global process Transition Management experience - Highly preferred
• Manufacturing & Service nature of business
• Expert in handling multiple ERP's and varied accounting tools
• Expert in Data Analytical skills and Interpretation of results
• Expert and proven track record in solving complex accounting/business issues
• Flexibility to work in US Shift timings
• This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office.
• Skills desired:
• Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
