About the role
We are looking for an IT Technician to support daily operations in our IDC (Internet Data Centre). Successful candidates will perform 24×7 shift duties and ensure smooth operation of data centre facilities in accordance with Alibaba Cloud operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform 24×7 rotating shift duties in the IDC.
- Respond to incidents and execute work orders in accordance with SLA requirements.
- Monitor IDC environment and equipment through routine inspections.
- Identify operational risks and escalate incidents promptly.
- Record incident information accurately and prepare preliminary reports.
- Perform equipment installation, racking, cabling, deployment and maintenance.
- Execute work according to SOPs and ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Complete assigned tickets accurately while maintaining SLA performance.
- Support site surveys, on-site supervision and minor infrastructure works when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related disciplines.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of servers, networking, cabling and data centre operations.
- Able to perform shift work (24×7 rotating shifts).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
