Shipping/Receiving Associate Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Salary Range: $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Build crates used for product shipments as needed using power tools Operate forklift or other power-driven equipment to load or move materials. Must be willing and able to become certified and perform the proper forklift techniques. Package customer product sufficiently to make sure it is protected during shipment Process any customer orders that arrive from production throughout the day. Maintain shipping and receiving forms, records, and logs Create bill of ladings, assemble shipping documentation, and contact carrier as needed Create delivery and post goods issued Process orders in the UPS system or other systems as required Receive and unload incoming freight Follow all Regal Rexnord Safety procedures. Follow approved procedures in receiving, material storage, shipping preparation, order picking, and order staging. Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, workstations, area neat and orderly; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. CERTIFICATION Fork Truck Certification preferred ESSENTIAL PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS Dependability Detail-oriented Ability to prioritize Decision making and solving problems Independence Adaptability/Flexibility Team player Area Expert Education and Experience Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent A valid drivers license Basic computer skills required Preferred but not required Work experience in a manufacturing environment Previous shipping and receiving experience Previous experience with building materials (for building crates/boxes) Previous administrative experience with UPS, FedEx Previous experience with document control and validation Experience with SAP or an ERP REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to respond quickly to changing situations based on movements, lights, signals, or speed.
