About the role

As a Marketing Specialist within the Global Marketing team, you will play a key role in designing and executing digital and in-person marketing programs that showcase Gartner's value to prospective clients. You will join the Invitational Strategy & Tech Team, responsible for creating impactful marketing experiences that convert prospects into clients through high-touch live events and innovative programs. Reporting to the Manager of Marketing, you will identify technology needs, support marketing automation, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end rollout and ongoing adoption of marketing strategies and workflows to achieve sales and marketing objectives.
  • Oversee, implement, and integrate tools such as CRM (e.g., Salesforce) related to Marketing programs.
  • Maintain work process flows by coordinating information and requirements with related operational departments and contributing to business improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Technology, Global Sales Operations, and IT to communicate user feedback and help prioritize enhancements that address critical business needs.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Serve as a liaison between Experiential Marketing, Sales Operations, Conferences, and IT to identify, define, and prioritize system enhancements that improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining business requirements, project plans, and process documentation to ensure clear communication and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Integrate ongoing end-user feedback into enhancement roadmaps to ensure solutions remain relevant and impactful.
  • Reporting and Tracking
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyse data, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Conduct data analysis to evaluate process performance, adoption rates, and business impact, delivering recommendations for broader rollout or process improvement.
  • Provide timely, data-driven updates to leadership and stakeholders to support informed decision-making and continuous optimization of team initiatives.
  • Gather feedback from sales and operations to refine processes and improve effectiveness.
  • Conduct quantitative data analysis using tools such as Excel and Salesforce to uncover trends and insights.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, IT, Sales, and Conferences to translate operational insights into actionable narratives and tools for the sales and services teams.
  • Participate in business improvement teams and maintain work process flows by coordinating information and requirements with related operational departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project management, sales operations, or CRM support (Salesforce experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and basic data analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to process improvements.
