About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Podiatrist Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our podiatrist in providing high-quality foot care services to residents in nursing home facilities. This is a travel position, and you will be expected to work part-time in various facilities within the area. - Assist the podiatrist in providing foot care services to residents, including nail care, callus removal, and wound care. - Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is sterilized and ready for use. - Escort residents to and from the treatment area and assist them in a courteous and professional manner. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. - Provide support to the podiatrist during procedures and treatments. - Medical Assistant certification or CNA license required. - Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Willingness to travel to different facilities as needed. - Competitive pay: $20-25/ hour - Flexible schedule: 15 - 30 hours/week - Travel reimbursement - Opportunity for professional development and growth If you are a compassionate individual with a passion for providing quality care to seniors, we would love to hear from you.
