What you'll do as Payroll Specialist - Asia : Accurately process and consolidate multi-country payroll inputs, ensuring timely and correct employee compensation. Manage and process all payroll changes efficiently, meeting strict deadlines. Perform detailed payroll calculations, checks, and analysis. Oversee shadow payroll management. Manage relationships with payroll vendors, ensuring accountability and secure data exchange. Establish and enforce robust internal controls for payroll accuracy and compliance with legal requirements. Track and manage internal company loans. Contribute to and support payroll projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Generate comprehensive payroll reports and analysis, including calculations for new hires, international transfers, and exiting employees. Leverage payroll databases to create on-demand reports and support internal/external statutory audits. Serve as a primary contact for payroll queries, providing prompt and professional support to internal and external stakeholders. Manage payslip generation and distribution via Workday, including simulations and data reconciliation. Document and maintain up-to-date payroll processes and procedures. Adhere to internal validation and approval processes, maintaining thorough audit trails for all payroll inputs. Maintain the strictest confidentiality and data integrity for all payroll information. You are: Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on payroll experience, specifically within Asian territories and multinational environments. Technical Expertise: In-depth technical knowledge of payroll processes, local labor laws, and accounting principles related to payroll bookings and reconciliations. Problem-Solving: Proven resilience and strong analytical skills to navigate and resolve complex payroll scenarios. Stakeholder Management: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effective stakeholder management across remote teams. Language Proficiency: Fluent in English. Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Attributes: Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, discretion, and a flexible, adaptable approach.
