- Database Administration :
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and Apache Cassandra databases

- Provide on-call support for production database environments
- Assist developers with schema design, indexing, and query optimization
- Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Technical Skills :
- Strong hands-on experience with MariaDB / MySQL , PostgreSQL , and Apache Cassandra
- Expertise in:
- Replication & clustering (Galera, PostgreSQL streaming replication, Cassandra clusters)
- Backup & recovery tools ( mysqldump , pg_dump , pg_basebackup , nodetool , etc.)
- Performance tuning and query optimization
- Experience with Linux systems and shell scripting
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Nagios, etc.)
- Database Concepts :
- ACID vs BASE principles
- OLTP and distributed database architectures
- Data modeling for relational and NoSQL databases
