Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Property Maintenance & Repairs
• Perform general interior and exterior maintenance tasks
• Complete basic repairs including painting, drywall patching, and minor carpentry work
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, and general maintenance issues as needed
• Conduct routine property walks to identify maintenance or safety concerns
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas and exterior spaces
• Assist with leaf blowing, debris removal, and general property upkeep
• Support preventive maintenance projects and routine community maintenance
• Safely operate maintenance tools and equipment
• Property Operations Support
• Communicate maintenance concerns and project updates to management
• Coordinate with vendors and onsite staff as needed
• Ensure all work is completed safely and according to community standards
• Respond professionally to resident and management requests
• Required Skills & Qualifications

Requirements

• Previous maintenance, facilities, porter, or property upkeep experience preferred
• Experience in condominium, HOA, apartment, hotel, or multifamily properties is a plus
• Skills & Abilities
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, and carpentry preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete tasks independently
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance required
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities throughout the day
• Professional attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
• Other Requirements
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work assigned schedule consistently

• Part-Time Schedule to Start:
• Monday / Wednesday / Friday
• OR
• Tuesday / Thursday

• $20.00-$26.00 per hour DOE

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and can work independently while helping maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained community environment. This role will begin as part-time with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position for the right candidate. Candidates with trade certifications or extensive experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work may be considered for higher compensation.
