Job Summary JOB SUMMARY: This position requires extreme attention to details and a thorough knowledge of the work procedures and component applications. The production control clerk will be responsible for scheduling and tracking component item requirements for the Nidec distribution centers and customers. Other functions will include data entry, document storage, and report creation and distribution. Job Description PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive, schedule, process and effectively track parts orders Perform and process all parts orders and releases Know parts packing procedures Coordinate with the Shipping department to ensure customer needs are met Figure daily, weekly and month end past due counts and amounts Figure daily, weekly and month end shipping performance Maintain all internal reports for motor tracking Update plant MEC books Maintain the ISPM Heat Treat program Assist in all areas of Production Control as needed Assist Shipping on Forklift and Yard Dog. Cross Train on Transportation Coordinator Job COMPETENCIES: Minimum Self motivated Preferred Ability to work independently Dependability TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: Read and understand customer order specifications. Operate computer to locate work instructions.
