DLR Group has an opening for an Energy Services Leader. Position Summary As an Energy Services Leader , you will be responsible for driving strategic growth within a key market sector and serving as a subject matter expert in client engagement, procurement processes, and project delivery frameworks relevant to large-scale engineering and design programs. You will collaborate closely with firm leadership, business development teams, and technical discipline leaders to develop and execute a market growth strategy. This role includes leading pursuits, supporting contract onboarding, overseeing project execution at a program level, and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships. You will also serve as a key connector between clients and internal project teams, ensuring alignment between scope, schedule, budget, and overall client satisfaction. This role sits within an integrated engineering and design environment focused on delivering coordinated, high-performance solutions across complex building and infrastructure projects. The organization emphasizes collaboration, interdisciplinary teamwork, and shared accountability across all phases of project delivery-from strategy and pursuit through execution and closeout. The successful candidate will Establish annual business goals, strategies, and execution plans in collaboration with leadership and regional teams Develop and expand client relationships and identify new business opportunities in energy services Lead and support major project pursuits, including proposal development and interview preparation Assist onboarding of new contracts and contract vehicles, and support ongoing program delivery Monitor client satisfaction and overall project performance across active engagements Collaborate with project managers and discipline leads to ensure financial health and successful project execution Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and teaming opportunities Represent the firm in industry events, client meetings, interviews, and business development activities Contribute to thought leadership through presentations, publications, and internal knowledge sharing Support internal communications and updates regarding market activities and client engagement Maintain awareness of cross-disciplinary coordination requirements across engineering and design teams Achieve annual revenue, growth, and profitability targets for assigned market sector Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field 8-10+ years of experience in client-facing roles within engineering, architecture, or construction industries Strong understanding of large-scale project delivery processes and procurement frameworks Demonstrated experience working in matrixed, multidisciplinary organizations Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Experience managing multiple clients and complex project portfolios simultaneously
