About the role
The Division of Economic and Risk Analysis is seeking two Financial Analysts (Financial Markets Research and Data Analyst). As a Financial Markets Research and Data Analyst, you will join a team that provides statistical analysis in rulemaking economic analyses in asset management, corporate finance, and financial intermediaries, develops and updates the SEC's public Statistics & Data Visualizations webpage, and produces statistical reports to stakeholders across the agency. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: SK-14: Applicant must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/SK-13 level: Analyzing financial or economic data to inform rulemaking or analytical reports; Producing technical documents including statistical methodology and advanced computer programs for data analysis, and Communicating data analysis findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
