Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, Water Treatment, the Laboratory Coordinator, Water Treatment is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of water treatment laboratory functions, including site sampling and QAQC implementation. Salary range: 90, 000 CAD /year The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity. Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Sciences, or other relevant subject areas
- Professional designation, such as AScT, P.T.Chem, R.B.Tech, or the ability to earn such a designation within six months of starting role
- Minimum five years of analytical laboratory experience
- Strong Understanding of QAQC in a laboratory setting
- Experience supervising or leading a team
- General knowledge of Water and Wastewater Treatment technology and processes would be an asset
- Strong digital literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite®, especially Excel and other data management tools Proficiency in VBA Macros would be an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent
