Responsibilities
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of Network Inventory system.
- Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders, both internal and external, to manage data from various sources(e.g., via data integration).
- Work closely with the operations team on as-built reports, fibre loss readings, and GPS readings submissions.
- Commission projects related to fibre cables, ducts, and manhole projects.
- Ensure data is up-to-date and aligned with the actual on-site situation.
- Support service trail migrations during diversions and fibre cut scenarios.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering or with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in GIS (Geographic Information System) environment would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of network roll out or implementation would be an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Possess project management and communications skills.
- Team player and quick learning, goal-oriented individual.
Additional Information
To be a member of the Engineering Planning team, responsible for planning and executing telecommunication infrastructure (Duct and Manhole) and deploying Singapore's Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network (Next Gen NBN) fibre infrastructure.
