Production Supervisor (2nd Shift)

Responsibilities

• Ensure staffing levels are sufficient for all daily print requirements and projects that are due each day
• Provide nightly updates on the progress of production areas
• Report all issues and delays by email directly to the Production Manager and the CSR responsible for the account to ensure communication is documented
• Review Production TOS Boards, including audit schedule, cleaning schedule, monthly A4, and updated metrics
• Ensure all print devices are passing G7 color management standards at the beginning of each shift
• Ensure all production departments are clean and put back in order at the end of each shift
• Attend afternoon production meetings
• Review all upcoming projects and be proactive in communication around concerns and follow-up actions
• Ensure all large digital orders have first-sheet signoff before the project begins

Requirements

• Ability to read, interpret, and decipher general written instructions from documents such as work orders, parts orders, safety regulations, operating procedures, or other job specific written documents
• Ability to speak and communicate effectively with fellow employees
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Prior leadership experience
• Digital print experience
• Understanding of color substrate
• We Would Also Prefer:
• 2 + Years leadership experience in a production environment
