About the role

Installation & Maintenance: Safely removing old meters and installing or commissioning new smart gas or electric meters (single or three-phase). Networking: Connecting meters to communication units for remote data transmission. Testing & Troubleshooting: Using computerized tools to diagnose faults, calibrate devices, and ensure accurate, safe operations. Customer Service: Explaining to customers how to use their smart meters in-home displays and advising on energy-saving practices. Documentation & Reporting: Updating installation data via mobile apps or laptops, recording material usage, and reporting faulty or unauthorized meters. Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety standards, including working with live electricity and gas, and performing risk assessments at sites.
