Day (United States of America) Location American Dental Associates (ADA) Job Description Patient Access and Care Coordination Coordinate the Motility Program referral and intake process, including obtaining required documentation and facilitating provider review. Serve as a primary point of contact for referring providers, patients, and families regarding referrals, scheduling, and program services. Support scheduling of motility clinics, procedures, and related appointments. Insurance and Authorization Support Coordinate insurance authorizations for motility procedures and treatments. Facilitate peer-to-peer reviews, appeals, and submission of supporting clinical documentation for denied services. Maintain authorization records and communicate status updates to providers and clinical staff. Program Operations Prepare and distribute agendas and supporting materials for weekly multidisciplinary motility meetings. Maintain referral, procedure, and program tracking databases and reports. Assist with monitoring patient volumes, workflow processes, and operational needs. Develop and maintain program documentation, resources, and shared files. Administrative Support Coordinate meetings and support provider administrative needs, including expense reimbursements and special projects. Prepare correspondence, reports, and other program-related materials. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, administrative staff, and external partners to support efficient program operations. Additional Responsibilities Support quality improvement, educational, research, and divisional initiatives as assigned. Perform other duties as required to support the goals of the Motility Program and Division. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma Required. Bachelor's Degree Preferred; minimum four years of related administrative experience required. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of either area. Excellent leadership, organizational and analytical skills, ability to work with teams, strong written/verbal communication. Strong planning and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and exercise good and professional judgment. Knowledge of medical terminology and medical education programs, preferred. Experience in an Academic Medical Center, preferred Extensive knowledge and experience working with Microsoft applications Education Bachelor's Degree Pay Range $24.00-$39.24 Hourly At Lurie Children's, we are committed to competitive and fair compensation aligned with market rates and internal equity, reflecting individual contributions, experience, and expertise.
