As a Client Success Manager, you will own relationships with a portfolio of Apptegy clients and help them get the most value from our products. You will serve as a trusted partner to school districts by providing training, strategic guidance, and proactive support that drives product adoption, retention, and long-term success. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, leading thoughtful client conversations, solving problems, and identifying opportunities to deepen client impact over time.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of client relationships, build trust with school district leaders, and serve as a strategic partner throughout the client lifecycle
- Lead virtual and in-person meetings, trainings, and check-ins that help clients get strong value from Apptegy products and align usage to their communication, brand, and operational goals
- Answer product questions, troubleshoot issues, and partner with internal teams to resolve client needs quickly and thoughtfully
- Identify risks, sentiment changes, and client needs early, then take action to improve outcomes, strengthen retention, and maintain clear visibility into client health, priorities, and next steps
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts and partner closely with Sales or Expansion teams to support growth conversations
- Make thoughtful recommendations that help clients better use Apptegy products to achieve their goals and tell the stories that define their strengths, values, and community impact
- Travel to client sites as needed to build strong, high-touch relationships
Requirements
- 4-year college degree or comparable, continuous work experience with an impressive track record of success
- Experience in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and an ability to learn new technology quickly
- Strong communication and presentation skills across video, phone, email, and in-person conversations
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- The ability to manage a dynamic schedule and take ownership of your work without needing day-to-day direction
- A service-oriented mindset and genuine care for client outcomes
- Confidence leading conversations, building relationships, and making recommendations that help clients succeed
- Sound judgment, curiosity, and a proactive approach to solving problems
- Comfort working cross-functionally with teams like Support, Product, Implementation, and Sales
