Position Summary At Syngenta, our goal is to build the most collaborative and trustworthy team in agriculture, providing top-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmers' success. To support this mission, Syngenta's AME Biologicals team is seeking a Biologicals Development Lead in Lusaka, Zambia who will act as a key member of the commercial team within the Business Area, working collaboratively with marketing, sales, and Crop Protection Development. This role will be accountable driving success of Syngenta's biological portfolio by delivering revenue and market share targets through biological business development. Accountabilities Co-developing and orchestrating marketing plans and value propositions for biological products in partnership with the BA marketing team Ensuring biologicals business alignment with commercial policies, HSE requirements, and regulatory frameworks Creating and implementing strategic value propositions and positioning strategies for the biologicals portfolio collaboratively with marketing Building and maintaining strategic relationships with industry bodies, regulatory authorities, and key institutional stakeholders to drive market insights and portfolio development Designing and leading comprehensive technical training strategies to build biologicals expertise across commercial teams and strategic channel partners Directing the biological demonstration and field trial program, ensuring alignment with regional crop priorities and business objectives Building momentum for biological portfolio by collaborating closely with sales, TMD/CPD and marketing in the field Leading technical issue resolution processes and developing preventive measures to optimize biological product performance Supporting KAMs locally by ensuring business delivery with distribution and commercial farms from a technical perspective Expert responsibility in creating the additional accountabilities as the owner of technical expertise per product, crop or subject matter and driving standardization and transformation of ways of working Ensuring that all operations under direct control comply with Syngenta Health, Safety & Environment policies, guidelines as well as any other relevant Syngenta or statutory policies Bachelor's degree in agriculture, agronomy, business studies or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and marketing experience, preferably within the agriculture industry Experience with crop protection and biological products Strong interpersonal, ability to negotiate and convince colleagues and customers Ability to work independently with high degree of autonomy and be accountable An entrepreneurial mindset summed with strong presentation skills Fluency in English (verbal and written) Syngenta is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in recruitment, hiring, training, promotion or any other employment practices for reasons of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, marital or veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status. #LI-Hybrid
