The Senior Account Manager - BFSI will manage strategic client relationships within the banking, financial services and insurance sector, drive business growth through upsell/cross-sell opportunities and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. The role will require a strong understanding of BFSI client challenges, IT/digital solutions (cloud, security, outsourcing), and the ability to operate at senior stakeholder levels. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as main point of contact for designated BFSI accounts: build, maintain and deepen strong relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders in banks, insurance companies, fin-techs and other financial institutions. Develop and execute account plans aligned with annual targets, client goals and CNS's solution portfolio. Identify and drive new business opportunities (upselling, cross-selling) within existing accounts and pursue new accounts in the BFSI vertical. Manage full sales lifecycle: from opportunity identification, solution design (in partnership with pre-sales/solution architects), proposal, negotiation to contract closure. Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, service operations, finance and contract teams to ensure smooth implementation, billing and support for clients. Monitor account health, report on performance, pipeline, risks and opportunities, and provide regular updates to senior sales leadership. Understand market dynamics, competitor activity and BFSI industry trends to position CNS solutions competitively. Ensure high client satisfaction and retention by proactively managing escalations, service delivery issues and evolving client needs. Maintain accurate data in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and ensure adherence to internal processes and standards. Represent the company at client meetings, industry events and contribute to thought leadership in the BFSI space. Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field eg computer science. MBA studies preferred.
