Project site Engineer

About the role

Lead the team in executing electrical work during the construction phase, including cable tray installation, cable pulling, panel installation, cable termination, and testing/commissioning for MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, DCIS/HMI, etc. Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design documents. Manage a team comprising supervisors, sub-contractors, and vendors. Responsible for electrical interfaces with the operational team, conducting meetings, and providing technical clarifications. Investigate and troubleshoot electrical switchgear faults or failures, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions. Analyze and enhance equipment reliability to prevent recurrence, collaborating with operation groups and external contractors. Prepare documentation for maintenance work, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and utilizing appropriate Method Statements and Risk Assessments, meeting BCA requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure systems, equipment, and rooms align with internal customers' needs. Review inspection and testing plans for electrical and instrument system installations through relevant checklists. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the smooth completion of projects.
