LPNs responsible for participating in the provision of professional nursing care to patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses, Providers, and Practice Manager.
Responsibilities
- Participate in designing and implementing a plan of care with the interdisciplinary team including Registered Nurses, Physicians, Advance-Practice Nurses (APRN, CNM, CRNA's), Physician Assistants, and other health professionals.
- Participate in educating patients on self-management activities, medications, nutrition, health, and wellness based on the plan of care designed collaboratively with Provider(s).
- Document participation in the nursing process in the medical record with accuracy and detail.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and vaccines; perform point-of-care testing; collect and handle specimens within scope of practice as determined by the Nurse Practice Act of the appropriate state.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse with current NH or compact state license.
- Certifications: Current BLS/CPR training.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required OR currently enrolled in an accredited program leading to licensure as a Registered Nurse and has current NH license as an LPN required.
