Responsibilities

  • Correspondence Management
  • Distribute mail received from sponsors and assist children in writing responses with the standard.
  • Do follow-ups on pending mail, GN, TYL, ILs with Sponsorship volunteers.

  • Collect transformational stories, project photos to assist with Christmas Card, APR design process and Annual Reporting.
  • Monitor all media rejections and make sure they are eliminated by at least 2%
  • Collect and deliver all Sponsorship 2.0 products as per the agreed timelines.
  • Capture RC quality data and participation for use for Auto APR processing.
  • Staff Management
  • Coordinate Weekly AP meetings with sponsorship volunteers to review and track progress on KPIs.
  • Do mentoring and coaching of Sponsorship volunteers on the Sponsorship Operation Plan
  • Capacitate Sponsorship volunteers on new business processes that are initiated by the NO and GC .
  • GIK Management
  • -Work closely with volunteers to identify MVC's and schools to be supported with GIKs.
  • Compile the OVC list to be shared with the GIK focal person.
  • Distribute GIKs to OVC
  • Facilitate coordination of Birthday Bounce Back Parties & Community Gifts
  • Mobilise registered children to participate in decision making on how they would like the BBB and Community Funds should be utilized.
  • -Facilitate the Birthday Bounce Back function and collect records of all RC and Non-RC who participated in the event.
  • RC Monitoring & RC Management
  • Monitor all registered children's presence within 90 days using mobile phones.
  • Identify needs of children during RC monitoring
  • Monitor RC Health and Education within 180 days
  • Process new recruits as per the SO request
  • Manage child portfolio and variance to adhere to Sponsorship standards.
  • Conduct Sponsorship Training to strengthen understanding and cooperation on Sponsorship issues.
  • Mobilize community people to attend Sponsorship Education.
  • Attend and Participate in Sponsorship New Initiative orientations coordinated by GC.
  • Facilitate training of communities on Sponsorship New Initiatives.
  • Mobilize community people to participate in community annual reviews
  • Improve socio-legal status of children through effective advocacy of children
  • Mobilize children to participate in child protection awareness through the ENOUGH campaign integration.
  • Facilitate registration of birth certificates for most vulnerable children.
  • Report child abuse cases to law enforcement and SAA in the office for logging on Ethics Point.
  • Participate in establishment of functional CVA groups at AP level.
  • -Collect data of children participating in established Savings , IMPACT+, WASH Groups.
  • Mobilize adults to be trained and participate on CVA activities.
  • Facilitate spiritual nurturing of children
  • -Participate in children's club establishment.
  • -Facilitate distribution of SN material distributed and biblical materials
  • -Collect statistics of children participating in spiritual nurturing activities such as bible clubs, children's camps, scripture union etc
  • -Facilitate spiritual nurturing for all children in collaboration with other Christian partners in the community

  • -Collect statistics of RC and non RC participating and benefiting in development projects taking place in the AP
  • -Monitor development projects taking place in the AP working closely with DF
  • -Mobile community members to participate in development project and also attend to developmental trainings organized by the DF.
  • Facilitate case identification and management of VAC, GBV and Mental Health
  • Identify and document cases of children experiencing violence and refer those for action through the Child Protection team
