As the Director of Manufacturing Engineering, you'll lead the technical strategy, development, and execution of a major clothes care manufacturing facility. You'll build and grow a world-class engineering organization-driving reliability, performance, and continuous improvement across all aspects of manufacturing operations. Position Director, Manufacturing Engineering Location USA, Louisville, KY How You'll Create Possibilities Lead the strategic direction, performance, and development of the plant's technical resources-including facilities, production equipment, and engineering talent. Build and guide a high-performing Manufacturing Engineering organization encompassing Manufacturing, Tooling, Facilities, Maintenance, and Process Improvement teams. Drive excellence across "Run the Plant" initiatives and large-scale capital projects, ensuring alignment with plant goals and financial targets. Collaborate with Product Line Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) and Advanced Quality Engineering (AQE) teams to deliver key capital and infrastructure projects that support long-term growth. Champion EHS, ergonomic design, and Human Organizational Performance (HOP) principles to ensure a safe and sustainable working environment. Establish clear objectives, provide coaching and development opportunities, and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and technical mastery. Develop and execute a comprehensive reliability and preventative maintenance strategy to minimize downtime and optimize operational performance. What You'll Bring to Our Team Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline Minimum of 10 years in progressive manufacturing or supply chain leadership roles Solid operational plant finance background and understanding Experience managing large manufacturing and engineering projects. Demonstrated ability to mentor, develop, grow and maintain a skilled engineering team Fluent with Lean manufacturing principles Proven communication skills - will be expected to communicate to all levels of the organization.
