Job Description Summary At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace business unit, we have been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. As NPI Military Program Business Operations Leader you will report to the NPI Program Director and will support him in coordinating the cross-functional NPI Military Program Leadership Team (Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, IT, and Streamline Program Managers). The main responsibilities of this role are to define program priorities, manage reporting to the Company's Senior Leadership Team, and ensure that standard work, operating rhythm, and KPI/bowler-based performance management are applied across all program streamlines. A substantial part of the role is to support the Program Business Leader in managing escalations with international partners and in preparing meetings with external stakeholders. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Design, development and deployment of program governance model Direct responsibility of Program Integrated master plan as well as risk management activities. Flight Deck operating system implementation at program level (SQDC, MOR, WOR, DM as applicable), as well as processes standardization and continuous improvement initiatives Lead the Program Weekly Operating Rhythm (WOR) as well as CEO Monthly Operating Rhythm (MOR) preparation in close coordination with Streamline leaders and Functional leaders. Chair Avio Aero Program's PCB (Program Control Board) Lead overall Program Financials as well as related operating cadences jointly with Program Finance leader Partnering with commercial functional leader to ensure outstanding customer relationship, new contracts acquisitions and program budget continuity. Owns the Business Plan (BP) updating Design, Develop and implement proper KPIs, processes and tools to support program governance Develop strong and trusted relationship with Partner Companies to allow program execution in accordance with Customer requirements. Leads the Program Business Operations Team (Program Business Operations Leader deputy, Risk Manager and Enabling Infrastructures and Processes Readiness Advanced Programme Manager) Ensure the accuracy and integrity of Program Reports for both internal use and consortium stakeholders. Manage the flow-down of requirement changes (after Change Control Boards) Ensure Infrastructures and Processes readiness in line with the Program Integrated Master Schedule Qualifications/Requirements Master's degree in Engineering Solid experience in project management, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and advanced problem-solving Proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams in a matrix organization, interacting effectively at all levels, including top management High level of proactivity, ownership, autonomy, and determination, with a strong capacity to manage and quickly adapt to project changes Strong communication skills, able to escalate critical issues at the right level with a clear sense of urgency and to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders Good knowledge of Company processes and organization, with a Lean Practitioner background and sound financial acumen in managing key metrics Good understanding of the aerospace industry and familiarity with the defense environment Fluent in written and spoken English Willingness to travel as needed to support the business Availability to travel as needed to support the Business Italian only Citizenship Eligible to be security cleared by the Italian National Security Authority (security concerns that can lead to a determination of ineligibility are listed in art. 37 DPCM 6 November 2015 n.5)"
