Business Unit Head

Responsibilities

• Own full P&L responsibility to deliver sales and profit targets for the business unit
• Develop and execute pricing strategies to improve margins and enforce cost discipline
• Identify and secure new customers, projects, and markets to expand business opportunities
• Build and maintain a robust forward order book pipeline to ensure steady revenue flow
• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with major drilling customers including operators, contractors, and EPCs
• Identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities across product and service lines
• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve sales targets
• Drive accountability in managing the sales pipeline, ensuring forecast accuracy and improving conversion rates
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or Marketing
• 8-10 years of sales experience with a minimum of 5-8 years in Oil & Gas, Drilling, or Energy Services
• At least 3-5 years in a leadership or senior sales role
• Deep understanding of sales drivers, pricing, margins, and profitability
• Proven ability to balance revenue growth with margin discipline
• Demonstrated success in winning new business and opening new accounts
• Strong negotiation, deal-closing, and tender management skills
• Knowledge of drilling operations, equipment, and customer needs
• Ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver results under pressure
