- Experience you'll need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in payment technology, financial technology, or transaction processing environments supporting enterprise payment platforms.
- 6+ years of experience supporting ACH processing, including file validation, exception handling, returns, notifications of change, reversals, prenotes, and settlement balancing.
- 6+ years of experience working with mainframe technologies, including COBOL, Job Control Language (JCL), DB2, Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM), z/OS, or equivalent technologies.
- 6+ years of experience implementing, configuring, or supporting PEP+ in client or enterprise environments.
- Experience applying NACHA operating rules, SEC code requirements, and ACH processing standards in production or implementation settings.
- Ability to troubleshoot batch workflows, job scheduling issues, processing failures, and performance concerns using structured root cause analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
- Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience with PEP+ Exchange, PEP+ Direct APIs, or PaymentView Navigator.
- Experience supporting large financial institutions or high-volume ACH processing operations.
- Experience with encryption, digital certificates, and secure file transmission processes.
- Experience working with upstream and downstream integrations across core banking, fraud, sanctions screening, or reporting platforms.
- How you'll work:
